First Amiibo related bodge in a LONG time
(mostly because it took forever to get this one)
Corrin is getting a Class Change as well
As Like the Robin bodge this one will be made to resemble the Corrin from my first run-through of Fire Emblem: Conquest
I used the in-game model & concept art for reference.
Thankfully these were already on hand from previous projects. The Zelda was used originally to build a Tetramiibo for example.
The hardest part of that was removing the hair without nicking the face. Hacked out the chest and body where the old sash was.
From here it was time to start sculpting and filling gaps in with Greenstuff.
(Note for people new to Greenstuff, always work with wet tools to prevent sticking and don’t to too much at once.
For this part of the project there are breaks to allow for it to cure before moving on.)
The idea of using all of Zelda’s arm was pretty short-lived once faced with the idea of sculpting those gauntlets around them.
So introduce new hands! with a manicure and some minor wrist surgery they were juuuuuust right.
Despite y’know, comin’ from minis less than half the amiibo’s size.
Dem Ogrun were JACKED.
To build the extensions on the boots on the thigh I figured it would be better to slot in some Plasicard and sculpt on top of that instead.
It was here I used the Skeleton shields as plate to bulk up the body armour a bit and more Greenstuff.
Then the cape was added. I cut it to fit where I wanted it and flipped it upside down to get a better “flow”. That and I wouldn’t need to add a bunch of layers to hide the symbol on it.
A little more sculpting to finish up before priming. I forgot to take a picture of it but it was at this point I sculpted a spine going down her back. It’ll be seen at the finish.
It was primed using brush-on Black and White primer.
and then it was paint to the finish!
Ready to Conquer!
T’was a bodgin’
